Valkyria Chronicles Goes Bilingual
Given the poor performance 戦場のヴァルキュリア:GALLIAN CHRONICLES / Senjou no Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles gave at Japanese retail, less than 1.5k copies sold, since its release back in April, Sega’s banking on the American fanbase to come to the rescue of the WOW Entertainment developed tactical RPG. While it hasn’t been confirmed as to what exactly Sega plans to do in terms of bringing over the Japanese downloadable content, they have made it clear to media outlets recently that gamers in the West will be able to tap into either an English or Japanese audio track.
Ever since I first saw this game back at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show, I knew I had to get my hands on it for a gameplay test-drive. It seems like it’s been ages since I’ve played a recently released tactical RPG, especially having never really sunk my teeth into Disgaea 2 back in 2006. Looks like I’ll get my chance, as will everyone else, to march onto Valkyria‘s battlefields when it deploys this November 11th.
